Privacy Policy

Revised as of October 16, 2026.

summaplanning.com (the "Website") is operated by Summa Planning Group LLC (sometimes referred to as "we," or "our" hereinafter). Summa Planning Group has created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of our visitors. Summa Planning Group is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of personally identifiable information you share with us (the phrases "personally identifiable information" and "personal information" mean any information by which you, individually, can be identified, such as your name, address, telephone number, etc.). The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you when you visit our Website how we use such information.

This privacy policy also governs the collection, use, transfer, and processing of your personal information. By using this Website, you consent to our privacy policy set out below. All terms not defined in this document have the meaning ascribed to in the Website terms and conditions located at summaplanning.com.

A Special Notice about Children

Children (under the age of 18) are not eligible to use the Website unsupervised, and we ask that children do not submit any personal information to us. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use this Website in conjunction with, and under the supervision of, your parents or guardians.

General

In general, you may visit the Website without telling us who you are or revealing any of your personal information. We collect information that you submit to us, including any personal information you submit through our contact options, when you request a consultation, when you register for a webinar, or when you complete the Responsibility Readiness Assessment™. Whether or not you choose to provide personal information is entirely up to you. We may also track the domain address from which you visit the Website through cookies (see "Cookies" section below).

Information We Collect

The information we gather enables us to personalize, improve and continue to operate our services. In connection with certain aspects of the Website, we may request, collect and/or display some of your personal information.

The Responsibility Readiness Assessment™

The Assessment is hosted on a third-party platform (ScoreApp). When you complete the Assessment, we collect the responses you provide along with the contact information you submit, and we use that information to deliver your results, to follow up with you about planning topics relevant to your responses, and to improve the Assessment itself. Your responses are stored in our customer relationship management system (Pipedrive) and may be used to prepare for any conversation you request with us. You may ask us to delete this information at any time using the contact details below.

Advertising and Conversion Tracking

We advertise on third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram). This Website uses the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API, which collect information about your visit — such as pages viewed, actions taken, your IP address and browser information — and share it with Meta so that we can measure the performance of our advertising and reach people with relevant information. This may include sharing a hashed version of information you submit, such as an email address, for the purpose of matching and measurement. You can manage advertising preferences through your Meta account settings and through your browser's cookie controls.

Analytics and Tag Management

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the analytics and advertising tags described in this policy, and Google Analytics to understand how the Website is used, including which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. These tools collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring website, and the pages you view.

Behavioral Analytics and Session Recording

We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics tool, to better understand how visitors interact with our Website. Clarity may collect information such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behavior, and page interactions through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity automatically masks sensitive information, such as text entered into form fields, by default. This information helps us improve the usability and content of our Website. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses this data, please review Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

IP Address Information and Other Information Collected Automatically

We automatically receive and record information from your web browser when you interact with the Website, including your IP address and cookie information. This information is used for fighting spam and malware and to facilitate collection of data concerning your interaction with the Website (e.g., what links you have clicked on). The Website automatically collects usage information, such as which parts of the Website you use and the number and frequency of visitors.

Email Communications

We may receive confirmation when you open an email from us. We use this confirmation to improve our service. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time, although we reserve the right to contact you when we believe it is necessary, such as confirming a registration or an appointment.

Aggregate Information

We collect statistical information about how you and others collectively use the Website ("Aggregate Information"). Some of this information is derived from personal information. While Aggregate Information is not personal information, it may be tied back to you, or your web browser.

We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws and the principles of notice, choice, access, security, and accountability.
